Marjolaine Larrivé

Plasticienne et dessinatrice, diplômée de l'école Estienne à Paris, section gravure, et de l'école des Arts Décoratifs de Strasbourg en illustration.

Réside et travaille à Lyon, commence à sculpter le savon en 2000.

Son travail, activement érotique, joue l'équilibre entre légèreté de ton et classicisme formel. A la manière d'un cabinet de curiosité, ses sculptures de savon, bas-reliefs ciselés, détaillent tous les objets du désir .

Biography

Marjolaine Larrivé

 French sculptor and illustrator. Etching diploma in Paris; illustration diploma in Strasbourg.

Lives and works in Lyon. 

Atypical and lively erotic, her installations plays between classical aesthetics and a much more lighthearted tone.

She's working on soap ; the carved bas-reliefs reveal and detail every objects of desire, as a cabinet of curiosities would do.

Her production deals with alternative aesthetic : shibari bondage, tattoos…

Two of her artwork are presented at the erotic Museum of Amsterdam (permanent exhibition). The sculptures are presented in a glass and wood case, and back lit for transparency.
